Setting up an Android phone for practice, not for decisions
The install itself is short and the store is the only place it should come from: a packaged file forwarded through a chat group cannot be checked, can request permissions the real app never asks for, and stops receiving fixes. Android warns before accepting anything from an unknown source for exactly that reason.
What matters more for a beginner is what happens after the install. Open the demo account first and leave any live account alone. Place a few practice orders with the stop loss and take profit filled in before sending, and watch how much smaller the confirmation screen feels than the decision behind it.
The rule worth writing into the plan is simple: the phone manages positions, it does not open them. A lot size typed on a keypad while standing somewhere is the classic route to an order ten times larger than intended, and the demo is where that habit gets caught for free.
