Practising today instead of installing first
For a first-time trader the biggest risk in week one is not a bad trade, it is never starting. Installing a terminal invites a decision about which one, on which machine, with which settings; a browser tab invites none of that and gets the order ticket in front of you the same evening.
A short trial in the browser also answers questions a description cannot: whether the charts are readable on the screen you actually own, whether the connection where you sit holds steady, and how the order ticket behaves when a stop loss is attached. None of it costs disk space and none of it has to be undone.
What the browser does not keep is the workspace — saved templates and custom indicators belong to installed terminals. That becomes a reason to install something around the point where the plan stops changing, which is usually several weeks into the demo run.
Removing the excuse not to start
The Exness Terminal is a full web trading platform that runs in the browser, so there is nothing to download or install. It works on Windows, Mac and Linux, and on mobile browsers.
What the browser route does not keep
The web terminal starts without a “platform download”; MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 are the downloadable desktop and mobile platforms with more advanced tooling. Both use the same Exness account.
