Exness Login & Client Area
You sign in to Exness through your Personal Area — the secure client portal where you manage accounts, deposits, withdrawals and platform passwords.
Open Exness Account →The first sign-in is where two passwords appear and beginners get stuck. The Personal Area password opens the client portal, and each trading account has its own MT4 or MT5 password that is set inside it. Sign in at the Personal Area or in the Exness Trade app, approve two-factor authentication if it has been switched on, then connect the demo account first and leave anything live alone until the plan is written.
How to log in to Exness
- Go to the Exness Personal Area sign-in page (or open the Exness Trade app).
- Enter the email and password you registered with.
- Approve the login with two-factor authentication if you enabled it.
- Open or connect your MT4, MT5 or Terminal trading account.
Security & password reset
Forgot your password? Use 'Forgot password' on the sign-in screen to reset it by email. Enable two-factor authentication in the Personal Area for an extra layer of security. Your trading-platform (MT4/MT5) password is separate from your Personal Area password.
Two passwords, two different doors
The confusion is structural rather than personal: one login covers the portal where accounts, verification and withdrawals live, while every trading account underneath it carries a separate platform password used only by MT4 or MT5. Resetting one does not touch the other, which is why a portal reset leaves the terminal still refusing to connect.
The practical consequence for a first sign-in is an order of operations. Get into the Personal Area, find the account number and the server name for the demo account, set or note its platform password there, and only then open the terminal. Doing it the other way round produces an error message that describes none of this.
What a first session should and should not touch
Worth doing on day one: switch on two-factor authentication, open a demo account, note the account number and server, and confirm that the terminal connects and prices are moving.
Worth leaving alone on day one: leverage settings, extra live accounts, and any transfer between accounts. Nothing in the first session requires them, and each is easier to change later with an understanding of what it does.
Nobody from a broker asks for a password, and no legitimate message asks for funds to be sent to an address. Signing in only through the Personal Area or the official app removes most of that risk before it appears.
What the first week is for
Access problems are the first thing a beginner meets and the least interesting thing they will ever deal with. The point of clearing them in the first days is to get to the part that matters: placing protected orders on a practice account until doing so is automatic.
A useful first week has no strategy in it at all. Place an order, attach a stop loss and a take profit before sending it, modify one of them, close the position, and look at where it landed in the history. Repeat until none of that requires thinking.
The written plan comes in week two, the logged practice run in weeks three and four, and money only after that. Getting the sign-in sorted quickly is simply how a beginner buys the time for the rest.
