An iPhone in a beginner's routine
Because iOS distributes through one store there is no installer to verify and no decision to make about where the file came from. The one setting that decides what appears is the region on the Apple account, which is the usual reason a search returns nothing on an otherwise working phone.
An iPad changes the calculation slightly. The larger screen is genuinely usable for reading a chart, which makes it a reasonable place to run the demo when no computer is available. An iPhone is not, and pretending otherwise is how a plan quietly turns into guesswork.
Nothing is lost by deleting and reinstalling the app: positions and history live on the server rather than on the handset. Notifications on an open practice position are useful; notifications that invite a new trade are not, and they can be turned off.

A first iOS session, in order
- Install from the App Store, then sign in and switch to the demo account.
- Place one practice order with a stop loss and a take profit attached before sending it.
- Turn on notifications for open positions, and leave the rest switched off.
- Keep chart reading and position sizing on the largest screen available.

The first four weeks, whatever the device
The routine does not change with the hardware. A free demo account, an order ticket learned until it is automatic, one page of written rules, several weeks of logged practice, and only then a small funded balance.
What the device changes is which part of that routine it can carry. A handset is fine for watching and closing; the written plan, the position sizing and the end-of-week reading of the log all want a larger screen and an unhurried half hour.
